Privacy Policy

This policy is from Yash Patil (sole proprietor), trading as Vastu99, Aher Garden, Pune, Maharashtra 411033, India ("Vastu99", "we"). It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Your floor plan image and the details you give us: North direction, main door direction, house stage and language.
• Your email address, given at checkout, so we can send your report link.
• Payment details from Razorpay: payment ID, amount, status, and the email and phone number you entered in the payment window. We never receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Emails you ask us to send your report to (family, architect): we use these only to send that email.
• Basic technical data: a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, used only to stop misuse. We never store your actual IP address.

We don't need your name, and we don't ask for your home address or any ID documents.

Why we use it

• To read your plan, work out your Vastu score and write your report.
• To take payment and unlock your report.
• To send you your report link and help you if you lose it.
• To prevent fraud and misuse, and to answer support or refund requests.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.

Who else handles it

We use trusted services to run Vastu99. Each gets only what it needs:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): reads your floor plan image and writes the report explanations.
• Razorpay: processes your payment.
• Supabase: stores your plan, answers and report securely.
• Vercel: hosts the website.
• Resend: sends our emails.

Some of these services may store data on servers outside India. They are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one to keep your session while you make a report, and one that remembers your private report link on your device. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

• We keep your plan and report so your report link keeps working.
• You can ask us to delete them anytime. We delete them within 30 days, except payment records, which we must keep for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.

How we protect it

• Floor plans and PDFs are stored privately and are opened only through short-lived secure links.
• All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Your full report is never sent to your browser until your payment is confirmed on our server.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent. Email support@vastu99.com from the email you used, or include your payment ID. We reply within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Vastu99 is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
